Colorado is known for its our door adventure sports- especially in summer. Blue skies, mountain peaks and ideal temperatures welcome everyone to get outside for some fun adventures. What could be more fun than zipping your way across streams, trees, and down mountains? Well nothing really. Feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin as you zip line with AVA.
AVA has two different zip line courses for you to get out and explore. The first course is our Idaho Springs Cliffside zip line which is located about 45 minutes outside Denver. With a total of 7 different lines on this course, you will zip on for a total of about 3,500 feet. This course also has optional features like a 50 foot free fall and surf zip. Keep an eye out for big horn sheep, as you can occasionally spot them as you zip by.
Our second zip line can be found at our Buena Vista Outpost. This zip line is made up of 6 lines, including our 900 foot dual racing line! You get to zip beneath the collegiate peaks of the Arkansas River Valley. A hand brake system gives you the ability to control your speed; just make sure you keep an eye on your guide so you can see any signals they give you!
There may not be a better combination than these two right here. Rafting, one of Colorado’s most popular adventures during the warmer months of the year, will get your heart pumping before you soar among the treetops on a zipline tour. Explore the colorful state of Colorado the way it was meant to be.
Buena Vista has some of the best sites in Colorado and is truly the post card for the state. You can pair your zipline and rafting package with camping at our Buena Vista outpost. After all these nature adventure sports, you’ll get to connect with nature by sleeping under the stars.
Make your time in Colorado memorable with an action-packed day of activity with our multi-adventure packages. AVA’s aerial adventures are unique in themselves, but imagine spending your morning above the cliffside, then your afternoon paddling down some of the most notorious whitewater rapids in the state. That’s a pairing for the books and the best way to enjoy as much outdoor activity as possible while venturing through the beautiful state.
